Prosper Kwasi Ahiakonu

Prosper Kwasi Ahiakonu is a seasoned finance and management accounting professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy, financial leadership, and organizational development. He currently serves as the Chief Finance Officer of GReSA Energy Services Limited, where he provides strategic oversight on financial management, governance, and sustainable growth initiatives.

With a career spanning over 38 years in the oil & gas, telecommunication, construction, external audit, and financial sectors, Prosper has led transformative projects that strengthened financial performance, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved compliance with international financial reporting standards.

Prior to his current role, he held senior positions at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, where he was instrumental in the rollout of SAP Hana Enterprise Resource Management software, financial restructuring, budgeting and cost optimization, as well as overall oil & gas financial reporting.

Prosper is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MBA and an MSc in Financial Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, United Kingdom. His strong academic and professional background enables him to blend technical expertise with strategic insight in addressing today’s complex business challenges.
